Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. Wednesday, March 05, 2014. We have said a lot of good-byes this week. It is our last few days in Oakville and our time is spent in preparation for the move and meeting up with friends one last time. The good-byes are not easy and our hearts are full of emotion. One minute, I feel excited to get on the plane and head to Tennessee and the next, I feel sad to be leaving many precious friends. Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
We are so excited about the way the Lord is building our family! We brought our precious son Abe home from Ethiopia in 2011, and he is such a JOY! The Lord has used this journey of adoption to teach us more about what it is to be adopted into His family. It is our prayer that our lives would reflect that love, and that our children will grasp all that the Father has done for them. I am not an early riser so this has been rather hard. Today will be a quiet day as all the girls will be at school. I love talking to the girls one-on-one about their lives and their hearts. There are so many stories to share. We also met this beautiful little girl that was in 5.
