Monday, July 03, 2017. What was I thinking? When I decided that this was the text on which I should focus our thinking this morning, what was I thinking? Because this is hard stuff. But this text was different. First, I tried .
Just wanted to say that the argument for a mastectomy because of easier reconstruction is faulty. If I had it to do over again I would have gone for chemo, which hopefully would have shrunk the invasive tumor and then a lumpectomy to get out the remaining DCIS. However, the mastectomy was what was right for me at the time. Wow, was that really 5 years ago? Filed under breast cancer.
We walk for 24 hours because cancer never sleeps. A Kid CAN Make A Difference! This is my third year doing Relay For Life. I am excited to be on the Rocklin Relay Planning Committee. And to be Team Captain of The Joeys. Every year I do Relay more and more people I know are affected by cancer. This year I walk in memory of Joey and my Great Uncle Duke. This year I am especially walking for Chelsea. Thank you for all of your support.

On April 3, 2007, I heard the dreaded words you have cancer. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. It has been months since Ive posted here. Months since Ive even thought about this blog. For anybody reading this who is facing their own cancer diagnosis, take heart! At least for THIS breast cancer patient, life is back to almost normal.
