Much ado about photography, birds, and day-to-day things that I need to get out of my system. A lot has happened since my previous post, and it appears I am not being very organised at blogging about it, despite assurances that I would try and keep up. Once a completion date had been set for the house sale, I then handed my notice in at work, to finish at the end of October, and we finally flew out on the 2nd November 2014. So fancying a day out we headed for Goldsborough Hall.

Thursday, February 01, 2007. The plan was to take in pretty much the same route as Saturday, but add in the loop from Piper Marsh through Corbett Wood and Childers Wood. Nothing on the feeders again on arrival, so the first action of the day, just on site, was three Robin. S having a serious squabble over robin-stuff. Or two were present beside Decoy Marsh, and Coot.

Friday, September 02, 2011. You can never please the public. Dai Greene won the gold medal at the Athletics World Championships yesterday in the 400m hurdles. Now I commented to a colleague what a fine achievement this was and he agreed. It was a flash in the pan. It was the slowest time ever to win the event. Flash in the pan? Thursday, July 28, 2011.
