Emilia Biala is a highly accomplished Polish National Record Holder in freediving. After surviving a train crash in Szczekociny, doctors told her that she would not be able to dive anymore. This photo was taken during her first free dive attempt in Dahab, Egypt. Against all odds, Emilia has proven that her passion for the sport could not be put out. A real survivor after all she has been through. Photo by Rafal Meszka, a finalist in the Red Bull Illume Image Quest 2013.
