Friday, December 30, 2011. One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making frosted sugar cookie with the Underwoods. This year though I realize how big our kids are getting and how much they look forward to these traditions we have. Grace, Hannah and I rolled out all the dough and did the cookie cut outs before everyone came over. Even the Papa gets into it. Big and are the best pseudo.
Sunday, April 28, 2013. The arrival of April meant it was time again for one of my favourite family traditions, a trip to the Wooden Shoe Tulip festival. Last year we went during the week and Amelia had been sad that some of the vendors were not there, so this year we promised to go during the weekend instead. We are already in transition with only 6 weeks left in Nigeria. We have two homes now, and leaving one for an undetermined amount of time is very emotional.
