Tuesday, October 8, 2013. As the seasons are changing, so different seasons take place in our life. If you find yourself full of life and wonder, keep seeking the Lord and marvel at his beauty. If you are weary from pain, brokenness or weighed down by past mistakes. Israel made some big mistakes and they suffered. Just as the Lord spoke to Israel through the prophet Isaiah. Forget the former things;. Do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! .
Monday, May 3, 2010. It is amazing to me how a little person can change so much in just nine short months. Paxton has made so many changes just in the past week. Just a few things that our little buddy can do now. 1 He can talk, babble, sing, and scream. 2 He loves standing up and playing with his toys. 3 He cannot crawl yet but finds ways to get around. 4 He loves to hold your fingers and walk around. 5 He loves turning the pages on books. 7 He can now eat all kinds of soild foods.
Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. What do all these things have in common? Our Easter celebration this year. We did all the traditional Easter things, but also tried to really emphasize the true purpose of Easter. the Atonement and Resurrection of our Savior. I hope we were successful. No Easter is complete without dying eggs. One of my favorite parts. The kids got quite the stash of goodies.
Diamonds are found only in the dark places of the earth; truths are found only in the depths of thought. Serving at the local soup kitchen always makes me think. I am always happy to help other members of my community through such a simple, yet important, service, but I am even more grateful for the opportunity to explore scenarios that I am not normally exposed to. Most recently I have forced myself to consider the question. What makes them so different than me? I have a college degr.

I find simple joys in interpreting the world in which we live and challenge myself to approach life from different angles to gain new perspectives.
