Thursday, January 10, 2013. Both kids had conked out in the car shortly after getting buckled in, and they transferred to their beds wonderfully. We spent the last hour of 2012 joining our Oki Neighbors on the hill around the fire pit where we chatted some more and enjoyed the heat from dead Christmas trees going up in flames. For the kids, going to eat udon at Marugame was at the top of the list. We all went to Thailand together, then bonded more as we each had babies within just a few months of each other over the next year. Syd had her last day at Kuwae preschool. She had to miss her final graduation since that was the day we were flying out.
