My dad has been very ill and I had to fly out to help him and my step mom out. He was in the hospital for 15 days. It has been difficult for many reasons but mostly because its hard to see your parents not feeling good. The good news is that we have assurance that this life is not everything. We will have eternal life because of Christ Jesus.
