Wednesday, May 27, 2009. 3 were on the Nene Washes, especially the High Wash. 2 were at Ferry Meadows. A trip of 10 was near Turves. Several were seen including N at Ferry Meadows. A female was at Blackbush and a male was near Turves. One was at Maxey pits. Other scarce waders included Spotted Redshank, Wood Sandpipers, Whimbrel, Curlew and Turnstones. Flew NW over Peterborough on 15. Summer-plumaged bird at Ferry Meadows.
