Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Check out my New Blog. I have started a new blog for my ministry in South Africa. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Visiting Paul and Shannon Again. My dad and I drove to NJ to visit my brother Paul and his wife Shannon and of course their dog - Gimli! I am so glad that I was able to get one last visit in before my return to South Africa on Tuesday! We had a great time and all enjoyed some shooting. There are bonuses to living in the country.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Today I found out I could no longer load pictures on my blog unless I decide to pay for more storage or some other such nonsense. As this blog is free I have no desire to pay anything for it! So I quickly went and found a web address nearly identical to this one - just add a 2 on the end! Friday, April 4, 2014. The sun was setting during an extremely cloudy evening - I loved seeing it peek through the holes and shine through on the ocean! To the left of the sunset was a storm on the ocean - so cool! Feeding - 1 April. It was wonderful to have more chairs - the kids were thrilled! Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Even a small child knows that a red light means to stop. But what does the word stop. It seems to be such a simple word, but the word stop. On one hand, the word stop. On the other hand, if a father saw his son about to run into the road, he may yell, Stop! Light as a stop.
For the last month or so I feel like we have all just been going through the motions in many respects. Sometimes, it was a case of just getting through the day, shower, morning school run, food, packing, food, afternoon school run, packing, food, bed. Automatic pilot kicked in and the essentials were done. Familiarity in the mundane daily routines was almost comforting and the limit of what any of us could deal with.
