Friday, June 20, 2008. Dave and Anna came over last Saturday to help Jef and Dylan work on the ceiling in the family room, and then Kara, Rose and James came over to have Happy Fathers Day dinner since Jef was leaving to go out of town on Sunday. Thursday, May 30, 2013. We had fun making gifts and Christmas ornaments, decorating cookies and eating! Thanks to everyone for their help and support. Tables all set for our family Christmas Party. Thursday, July 5, 2012. We worked, and worked. Painted in the hot sun, and by flashlight. And showed our skills doing the Chicken Dance. It takes a lot longer to put on the shingles, and takes more sheet metal than we ever imagined. Yeah Dylan, super shingle cutter! He used up all the sheet metal Jef had been storing. The kids had been asking frequently when we could head out there to get apples to make applesauce. A beautiful fall day after school we decided to make our way to the Apple Orchard to see just how many windfall apples we could find to.
