Thursday, August 14, 2008. The view from the island as taken from the boat. This photo shows the little village that once graced the island. The white house in the photo was restored in recent years. It is the stone built houses that are in ruins that formed the original village. This cottage is privately owned and again, has been restored to original condition. This is a typical traditional Irish home and this was probally built in the late 1800s.
