Thursday, March 4, 2010. There is a reason for everything. And definitely, blessings come in strange ways. It is interesting when you look back at situations that at the time seem devastating and like everything is going against you. Then realize that those moments definitely opened an opportunity for something else to happen, or perhaps could have saved your life. The anxiety and panic had left me. I felt so much calmer. Monday, December 17, 2012. One year ago today, my oldest brother passed away. I started this blog days ago. I have written and deleted several paragraphs, and mentally composed and rejected countless more. Even though they were heartfelt thoughts, they seemed trite- the kinds of things that everyone says at times like these. Not that they arent good, but Im sure someone has said it better than I could have. Above all, lets be a little more kind to each other. Give others the benefit of the doubt.CONTENT

Monday, December 22, 2014. Today I had a super proud mommy moment! Samantha cut her hair so that she can donate it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths! This particular organization will take hair at a minimum of 8 inches and Samantha had 9. They are in partnership with the American Cancer Society and they give their wigs for FREE!
