It doesnt use the latest versions the lastest versions of PHP are 5 and MySQL are also 5 . But most of the CMS and LMS systems use the version 4 products. No problem - but I always like to try the latest thing, and there were a few around that needed PHP 5 that I couldnt get running. For Apache - httpd.conf. For PHP5- php.ini.
