I have a new wheel, a gorgeous Ashford Country Spinner. I spent a lot of time winding the yarn on by hand but boy, was that slow work. Art yarns are time consuming anyway, without adding to it. These remind me of humbug sweets. I may well get some hand spun in the shop.

Some thoughts and pictures from the. Saturday, 19 July 2014. So the end of term came, and along with it our last day. And a few tears shed . And we walked away from the school where we had spent the last twenty years of our lives. We are now entering the next phase of our lives. There really are no plans - apart from setting off with our caravan whenever the weather is nice.
