Monday, October 12, 2009. I wish my kid would sleep. Ally has slept HORRIBLE since she has had her tonsils out. I hope both of my kids stay in their own beds tonight. Lanie wet the bed and incidentally peed all over me last night, ugh. I pray that I am a good mentor. I miss my family in Texas. Ally has the best teacher in the world.
Tuesday, December 28, 2010. The kids decorated their rooms the day school ended for break. Harrison making rice krispy wreaths - we made a ton of cookies. Mighty Bean Case, and the new robe. So that is Christmas for now.

Even though the fireworks were far away, the boys needed their ear protection! The next day, we went back out to Grandma and Grandpas and went for a boat ride and went swimming. A sea journey to the Antarctic, 2013 - 2014. We have jabs, shop for thermals, and soon the journey is about to begin. This will be home for a month. First we fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg. We sleep over, and next morning we get our flight to Buenos Aires. We explore this incredibly pretty yet vibey downtown area for two days, then head west some more, to Santiago in Chile.
