Last Wednesday, the packing was done, the movers have pulled out our stuff and the shipment all set and ready to go, as I was watching our container van leave for the port, I felt like I was watching a funeral. Our life in Sri Lanka, all boxed up and it is over. As I said in my Facebook update, I am beyond sad.
In anything under the sun.
My last blog was about Iloilo, and today, we will try to show you a glimpse of the beautiful city of Bacolod where the people wears a sugar-sweet smile. Bacolod City is situated on the northwestern part of the island of Negros, it is bounded by the Guimaras Strait on the west, the municipality of Talisay on the north, the municipality of Murcia on the east, and Bago City on the South.

A living history site c. 1847 on Roanoke Island, NC. A living history site, Island Farm interprets daily life on Roanoke Island in the mid-1800s. The centerpiece of the site is the Etheridge farmstead, where Adam Etheridge built a house on land that had been farmed by his family since 1757.
