Friday, December 29, 2017. The Best Bits of 2017. Well, 2017 has been a bit of a rubbish year all round. Music has been one of the things that has kept me going, with some great gigs and listening to stuff at the same time as Twitter pals. These are my picks for the things that I heard for the first time in 2017. Making America Great - Fold. This is positive, uplifting and hopeful in equal measure, and a powerful response to the current dumpster fire of American politics and culture.

Last Wednesday I went to my friend Krissys painting party where we were doing lawn artdecorations and eating lots of snacks! I painted this pretty butterfly - at least I hope its pretty - if you think otherwise, dont tell me. The lady who runs the parties gave me a picture for reference but it wasnt a paint-by-numbers thing. It was just me, trying. She did the silver bow for me at the top.
