We were so excited because we have never been able to get to Illinois during corn season and to bring this much home to can was a dream! I ended up canning 12 quarts and 15 pints of Illini sweet corn! I am quite proud that I finished this project without any mishaps in the kitchen! We are going to be enjoying this for the next year! Tuesday, May 28, 2013. The Month of May. Before I get started on May, I want to tell you about 2 special events that happened in April. I cannot believe I forgot to mention these in the last blog post. Brylees Baby Dedication was April 21st, and John Reagan had been asking to be baptized for a while. So we did his baptism the same morning. So so sweet! As for May, therapy started for Evie. We made it through our 12 visits fitting them in between 2 separate school pick ups. Whew!
