Wanting to embrace, trying to slow down, real joy fleeting,. Thoughts careening, spinning faster, faster, twisted, crashing. Longing to know why, how? Has it all been a façade? Always affirming the art of genuineness, what is real, real for who? Tired, numb, grasping, hoping, craving.

Telling the story of facing cancer as a family. Its not Sal tonight as usual. This Blog was set up in awful circumstances about how cancer affects a family. And I think she has done it amazingly well. I am so proud of her and maybe tonights entry will fail to live up to the usual high standard but here goes. The next time we saw him was a few days later at the fu.
The hardest thing and the right thing. I stared at it for a while and tried to remember this version of myself. What filled her days? What thoughts rattled around in her mind? What did 9 year old Stephanie imagine her 31 year old life would be like? Am I living up to those expectations? I look forward to finding out.
