Thursday, August 22, 2013. On our four year anniversary August 15th I found out that I would deliver our second son the very next day. Talk about a special and memorable gift! Although this would make our second child I was still as nervous as I was before! The tears were also tears of joy in anticipation of meeting our son.

Sunday, September 9, 2012. Camping at Kerr Lake September 2012. Friday, November 25, 2011. This year has been nothing short of amazing. At only 26 weeks 2 days gestation, avery was born weighing only 1 lb 8 oz, and today you would have no clue looking at her.

Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Connor turned 1 on March 1st. We celebrated his special day with dinner with the Grammy and Grampa, followed by cake, with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle David, Madeline, Lydia and Margo joining us. He opened a few gifts too, with lots of help from big brother Brayden. Beautiful and delicious cakes made by Grammy. Mmmm, this cake is good! .

So much to do, and so little time. To see tears well up in the eyes of a few old sailors was very moving to say the least. They could not believe that a Vice Admiral would take time out of his unbelievably busy schedule to write a personal letter to the four of them. It was the first time that they had ever received that kind of recognition and the pride they had in serving their country was evident through their tears. It was one of the greatest privileges of my life! February 6, 2010.
