Sunday, March 23, 2014. Happy 3 year Gotcha Day! It has been three years since we walked into Beijing SWI and took the hand of Ren Qianting to bring her home. The last post was waayyyy back in June of 2011, just two months after arriving home with Lydia, TingTing as we called her at the time. Then much to the dismay of all who followed us while we were in China, I abruptly stopped the updates.

Wednesday, May 27, 2015. We took the RV to a campground near Tallulah Gorge for Memorial Day weekend. We figured out how to run the refrigerator, the hot water, the stove and oven, and clean out the toilet. I think it was a pretty successful first outing. Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Monday, October 1, 2012. We arrived home one year ago, exhausted, joyful, grumpy and hungry. The trip was wonderful, but it was not as I had planned. Anna was not happy to have me in her life. A scared, timid, I need security. Kind of peace. It was especially bad the time we left our breakfast tickets in the room and my husband shoved her into my arms and jumped back on the elevator to get them! Had done all the stacks of paperwork?
