Lessons, laughs and a few bumps on this road of motherhood. Saturday, February 9, 2013. It was a beautiful October Sunday. Warm, sunny and fleeting. So even though I had worked the night before, I packed up my kids and took them to the park. I wanted to soak up some sun and let them run around a little. And then came what turned into the single worst day of my life.

Addicted to baking sweet treats! Dora The Explorerer Cake. So sorry for the lack of posting lately. it just seems that summers are so busy. Every weekend there is something to do whether it be a party, a cookout, a trip to the cape. Im sure you all know how it goes. Recently we have been experiencing a bit of a heatwave as well. 90 degree temperature dont really motivate me to bake. but soon I will be resuming my baking as I have a couple of orders coming up next weekend! Monday, May 24, 2010. We made this cake for a combined Birthday party. Both tiers are vanilla cake filled with vanilla buttercream and fresh sliced strawberries. The guest of honor is a huge fan so we made her a personalized flag! This cake was a combination of red velvet with cream cheese filling and cherry chip with cherry filling.
