We were able to take our first trip to the beach andhad a fabulous day! Later that month we enjoyed a visit from my mom. Sadie loves to see her Grammy honor and enjoyed all the back logged presents she brought with her. We also got to go to the strawberry patch in Carlsbad again. Sadie had fun picking all the strawberries she could. This year was a little differen.

Wednesday, August 19, 2009. One of the funnest things we did in Seattle was to go crabbing and clam digging. We were quite successful and ate crab one of the nights we were camping. After Seattle we drove over to the coast so the kids could see the ocean for the first time. We stayed at a campground right off the beach and played in the water even though it was freezing cold!
