Friday, July 2, 2010. A new beginning for Gizmo! The second week of June brought several people who were interested in Gizmo. She was crossposted on Facebook, on Petfinder classifieds, listed on Russell Rescue. And on Last Chance Dog Rescue Alabama. We interviewed two potential adopters, but unfortunately we only have one Gizmo. When I told Shannon that Gizmo wanted her to be her new Mom, she said that. Gizmo will live the rest of her sweet life with them.
I have lost Buffy, Mittens and today we lost Scooter, unexpectedly. Then I read that Lorenza just left her family. He was a such a great cat to our family. Farm life is hectic! I wish I could understand why these little blessings leave us, some sooner than others and way before you think.
I am about 3 ft tall and 50lbs with outstanding hind muscles and a slight muffin-top. I enjoy wrestling in the mud and smelling people in inappropriate places. I am currently unemployed, live at home with my parents and spend a fair amount of the day licking myself on the couch. Cats need not apply! Life lessons from a dog.
