Wednesday, February 12, 2014. This is the first project I undertook this year and I think it was a pretty good way to start the New Year. I have a dear family friend, Lori, who had been collecting plates for probably 25 years now. Most are from thrift stores, some from Mexico, and others are special family heirlooms. They are all fantastic! And the bad lighting in this picture.

Thursday, December 11, 2008. Small and Simple Christmas 2008. Since part of our holidays will be spent out of town this year, I decided not to haul the many, many boxes down from the attic and just decorate small and simple. I got some of my normal January decor out and mixed it with a few new bargans I picked up. I filled a glass vessel with clear plastic ice rocks, turquoise glass orbs and ornaments. The big silver ornament is from Marshalls and much more inexpensive than I have seen before. My parents.CONTENT
