Thursday, December 16, 2010. I originally split the Annex off from the Washroom so I could use the Washroom to focus on real-world events at Southwestern College and my own personal rants-and-raves. The Annex was to be for writing. But very quickly it became apparent that I wanted my Washroom readers to see what I had up on the Annex, and I began cross-posting every bit of fiction I had posted.
Thursday, January 31, 2013. For the sixth grade at Hughes Public School we had Miss Rowan for the year; that would have been sometime in 1982 if I recall. She was a wonderfully flighty lady with a Scottish lilt and a penchant for storytelling, often reading aloud to us at the end of the day from assorted books. She was the type of teacher you remember for the rest of your life.

Mauthe Lake campground is about an hour Northwest of Milwaukee, and two hours from where we live in the Chicago suburbs. Everett enjoyed playing with his second cousins, and they kept him entertained so Billy and I could relax a bit.
Wednesday, February 24, 2010. This is my adorable niece when she was just shy of 2 weeks old. Thursday, October 29, 2009. It was an adventure taking these pics. We pulled up to the planned park and it was closed! We decided just to walk in and take advantage of the empty park. It was so fun! It was so cold, and everyone was so cute!
