Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Last year that was the last day I had with my Dad. In a single breath, I can see myself sitting by his bed. Trying to commit every detail to memory. I heard the change in his breathing throughout the day. I knew he was going home to be with Jesus soon. That morning I had my last real conversation with my Daddy.
Thursday, July 23, 2009. The past couple of days have been full of activity. Last night we had our church picnic. It poured for about 10 minutes as we were setting up for the evening. But it cooled down a good bit after that and it was a really nice evening.
