Misadventures in the Art of Viticulture! Tuesday, August 01, 2006. The Beginings of Big Dog Winery. Ok, so I got all excited like JoJo the Monkey Boy the other day and decided to start fermenting and bottling my own wines. Admittedly I had to get approval from the ever so indulging Tiffany before hand, but now its ON! My first attempt is going to be a Chilean Cabernet from a kit sold by Heron Bay. I figured it might be wise to start out with someone elses blend before I created my own concoctions.
We are so blessed, especially Cooper, to have the benefit of such a wonderful environment to grow and learn too. That is all I have. And this picture really cracked me up. It makes me think that he was just laying there with his sword up, just on the off chance that we might come back in to his room.
