Wednesday, August 12, 2015. We spent our first full day in Germany in the towns of Ettal and Oberammagau. We drove up the mountain a little bit to get to it. According to Wikipedia, over 50 monks still practice there. We then walked up the road to a cheese factory that some friends had told us about. Friday, September 13, 2013. I have put off writing this post for awhile now. I was afraid that if I wrote it that everyone was going to think that it was just another attempt and that it would not last long. For the past month I have been dieting. again! I am happy to report that I have lost sixteen pounds in the past month. Go me! I will keep making updates about my progress. This is only the beginning and I am determined to make it a perfect end. Friday, May 28, 2010. Where does time go? Maddie is growing up so darn fast, and Matt and I are just doing the same old stuff. I just finished my 2nd year of teaching. I had an amazing 5th grade class this year. The last part of school was very bittersweet. I am so glad to have a summer break and be home with Maddie, but it was hard to say goodbye to this group of kids. She loves to play peek-a-boo.

Abs, Buns, and Pies. In the end, they barely lost. They needed one more out and they would have won the game, but alas, the ball was hit, runners ran in, and the game was over. They were disappointed, but still got a nice runner- up trophy.
