Thursday, January 10, 2013. Both kids had conked out in the car shortly after getting buckled in, and they transferred to their beds wonderfully. We spent the last hour of 2012 joining our Oki Neighbors on the hill around the fire pit where we chatted some more and enjoyed the heat from dead Christmas trees going up in flames. At midnight, we watched fireworks set off at Sunset Beach. Sunday, January 6, 2013. We woke up Christmas morning to Sydney coming in our roo.
Wednesday, May 2, 2012. We started off our trip with a long drive to Moab. We have pictures of that later as we also stopped there on our way back. We started the trip with a visit to Dead Horse Point State Park. The view is amazing there. The blue water you see in the distance is evaporation ponds for a company harvesting different elements. They dye the water blue to make it evaporate faster. It looks really cool though.

We actually got to stay home Christmas Eve which meant my girls got to wake up in their own beds and see what presents Santa brought them under their own tree. Priceless! Saturday, April 21, 2012. I just LOVE holidays now as a mother. It is so much fun watching my girls get so excited and learn about fun holiday traditions. Was super excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought. Got the hang of the Easter egg hunt pretty quickly. Was so nice to share and help sister. Cartoons and candy makes for a wonderful Saturday morning. Sure love these two little girls.

For the kids, going to eat udon at Marugame was at the top of the list. We all went to Thailand together, then bonded more as we each had babies within just a few months of each other over the next year. Syd had her last day at Kuwae preschool. She had to miss her final graduation since that was the day we were flying out.
