Lost Forgotten. Derelict. Obsolete. Abandoned. Friday, December 23, 2011. It seems strangely apt that this blog about abandoned and forgotten things has been abandoned for the past year. There have also been apt reasons. Four months after I started this blog, I had a very close encounter with ruin and abandonment on a personal scale my house was flooded in the Brisbane floods. We were very grateful to be able to stay with friends for the next two months while our house was repaired. It was invigorating .
