Monday, September 29, 2014. Juramento a la Bandera del Ecuador. We enjoyed our first Ecuadorian tradition this past Friday- the Juramento a la Bandera, or Pledge of Allegiance. It is a government mandated day in which every school had to participate as well as everyone in the school. Parents come to watch and parents and students dress in their best clothes. It is a time in which the senior class is honored and shows their respect for Ecuador and the flag. The honored senior gave a speech as well as on o.
Saturday, December 3, 2016. Mom and dad came for Thanksgiving and we had a nice weekend. This was the second year that the girls decorated the table while we got the meal ready. Love that tradition!
