August at Midday when a car struck her. One forgets how physical grief is. Grief inserts ice into your very marrow with long bony fingers, so you are cold, bone cold and no heat source will warm you. Wednesday, 8 July 2015. Sri Lanka- Nuwara Eliya. In an effort to avoid another 4 hour drive on windy roads, today we took the train up the mountain. Ok, so we travelled first class, and not quite the the same way the locals do, but it was a great experience. We often ventured out of our air-conditioned comfort to watch the changing scenery.
