Friday, July 29, 2011. Time is a precious thing. Ray and I took the first flight out we could get to go see my dad. Things were not looking good and we need to get there asap. There was times Dad just slept and yet throughout the week we took the time to enjoy any time he was awake to talk, cry together, and some how he had bursts of energy to play games. Chaos and Confusion in the DR. Sunday, January 09, 2011. We are very happy to announce the arrival of our third child, but first boy, Quin Birch Friesen! He was born on January 6th, at 4pm. Weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds! Everything went very well and smooth and I thoroughly enjoyed my first Canadian experience except for the painful birthing part of course. Hazel and Luna are thrilled of course and always checking in on him first thing in the morning and making sure his soother is always available.CONTENT

Friday, August 14, 2015. We were lucky to have my cousin Kaitlin in town at the same time we were. It had been a couple years since we last saw her. It was so much fun to have her hang with us and a great reason to play tourist ourselves. I hope it becomes an annual summer tradition. It was a good day! At the Ballard Locks. I have never seen this before and it was pretty cool.
