Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Everything went quicker and smoother that other births. His cord was wrapped around his neck, and it had to be cut quick. He is 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. He seems to have a giant mouth. Like all babies he looked like a gremlin at birth. He seems to look a bit like me, but maybe that will fade as he looks less and less like a gremlin.

I have logged some pretty long and tedious hours the last few weeks. The horse show is just days away and I have been stuck on my computer making the final preparations to the lists. Tonight a friend texted me to go out and look at the meteor showers. I love the summer air. I love how it is warm and cold all at the same time. I could hear the hum of harvest all around me.
