Sixteen years of marriage and infertility left my arms empty and a hole in my heart. I did not understand why my God would choose to place me on this journey of childlessness. BECAUSE WHEN LIFE HANDS YOU LEMONS. Sherri filled me in with what she knew - a shooter had killed children and teachers at a school in Newtown, Connecticut. There were at least seventeen kids dead. The noise from the chatter of the teachers in the lounge faded as my stomach filled with grief. This is only a test. It is days like today that I am reminded how grateful I am to be a working mother.

Our Second Trip to Vietnam. This is just a short post to show a few adorable pics of Annie from this afternoon in front of the Christmas tree. Lucy absolutely refused to be in any pictures, so there are only ones of Annie. Lucy was almost back to normal today. What a huge relief! Thanks for all of the well wishes and prayers for her.
