Here I depict Christ with one eye revealed and one unseen. This is to symbolize the duel nature of Christ, which is difficult to perceive and accept. In my art we see a representation of Jesus Christ walking in the desert. The barren landscape is symbolic of the spiritual wastelands of this world down through time. The art is presented with messianic text that can be read in the Torah, Dead Sea Scrolls, and Old Testament of the Christian Bible. The words are from the prophet Isaiah. Speaks the words of this scripture to Israelite captives in Babylon to keep them from wimping. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people.
