The design consists of the centre part of nine-patch diamonds and framing and you have to determine before you start stitching how many stitches you are going to make in one section.

A place to see what I am doing or not doing. I made another creative decision on the bird bodies I made sure the stitches were slanted the same on both sides. I guess I should say I reversed the direction of stitches for one side. Whatever, I did it and it was a conscious decision. I think bird wings and sides are going to be the most fun, but probably the most labor intensive.

Her daughter has organized a sewing day to make Cuddle cushions for children in Africa to use in recovery after undergoing heart surgery. It is on Sat 25th July, 10 - 1pm.
