Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Of the wonders that the Internet brings us. There is so much more to it than meets the eye. To it We practically can do anything virtually online.
After attending the classes for module COM125, i have indeed gained much insights on the background of Internet; such as how it was introduced and its uses. Also, i was taught about the various social media, the tools of Internet, multi-media, Video-making and more. Hence, overall i feel that this module is interesting and i have enjoyed attending the classes being conducted, though the mid-term was a killer to me! March 29, 2009.
Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Week 10 Future of the Internet and Reflections. I predict, as many have that the Internet in future, is unpredictable. But some things are clear, given our speed of advancement in technology, by the year 2019, things that are commonly used today may just disappear just like how CDs and VCDs are facing dwindling sales. Internet is here to stay, that is for sure, just that it would be further ehanced to make our lives easier and faster.
Initially, having studied Multimedia Technology, I thought attending COM 125 would be the same things again. However, it proved me wrong, I have actually learnt alot more then expected. There are actually so many things I can do within Google rather then just sourcing for information. Finally, I enjoyed the the class project presentations as our fellow students gave more insights on the chapters that were gone thorough in class.
