Applique, Patchwork and fabric. Margaret and I landed in San Antonio on Monday evening after an eventful trip. Melbourne to Sydney was the first leg of the journey and the highlight of that was a dinner celebrating the first stage of our trip. Margaret relaxing with a Chardi. And our yummy dinner at our favourite Sydney restaurant in China Town. And we enjoyed every bit. Joan, Darwin and Sherry. 00am now so I best be.
As you can see I am all set up ready for the Sydney Quilt and Craft show. The new convention centre is wonderful from inside and out and just as easy to get to. we had a plan and stuck to it. Everyone is hoping for record crowds as this is the first time in 3 years we are back at the Darling Harbour location. come and say hi at my stand C23.
Friday, March 30, 2018. I still have the small borders to put on but things are moving along . I am going to try to make a pillow case to go along with this quilt. I also finished my Kaffe quilt . I have the hand quilting finished, binding put on and washed. Now I just need to put on a label. It will be a great comfy quilt for Crisis for Kids. Monday, March 26, 2018. My quilts- mostly my own designs with a few antique reproductions popped in. This naive quilt is loosely based on early needlework samplers. The quilt features a field of flowers, leaping rabbits, snowdrops and whimsical birds. The whimsical designs are divided into seven mailouts, the first being mailed in early November. Pattern only within Australia and all international.

We also organised to meet up with the Gisborne girls, Tania. And Irene in front of Irenes newest project, A Paradise of Birds. Za odměnu mne tedy pozvali s několika dalšími facebookovými fanoušky KIA MOTORS Czech. Na dvoudenní výlet s návštěvou výrobního závodu KIA v Žlině. Tak by se dala vydařená akce shrnout pár slovy. Nicméně nakonec posádka blicí pytlíky nepoužila.
