Fun and Fears of the First Year. Monday, October 27, 2008. I cannot believe how fast and furious my first year of teaching was! I have to say that there have been sooo many changes in my life that I am still amazed I survived! Over the summer I took some much needed R and R by returning home to see my family whom I had not seen in over a year! It was a great time! As a result, I did no professional development and thanks to Hurricane IKE- -its coming back to haunt me. I am happy.truly happy! Things ar.
