At work yesterday, the engineer guy offered me a bag of freshly milled wheat flour. The only condition was, if I took it, I had to make a treat for the office! I took the challenge. I looked up a whole wheat recipe and immediately I landed on this Oatmeal Buttercream Pie recipe. Oh guys, its soooo yummy! I made the cookies last night, then got up a little earlier this morning to make the frosting fresh. I was nervous about refrigerating the cookies. ANYWAY. this is how they turned out. 1 tsp baking soda.
