I have always loved Hood River, Oregon as a quick stopover when I travel from Walla Walla to Portland. Its a good place to stop for lunch and to walk around to stretch our legs. I had never thought to go there for a vacation before, though, and I was very pleased with our trip. We spent a weekend there and enjoyed karaoke, wine tasting, Thai food, and a hike to the top of Multnomah Falls. The entire trip was relaxing and full of visual treats. I will definitely go again.
