Saturday, June 16, 2012. Good Bugs and Bad Bugs in the Garden. In the Garden there are Good Bugs too! Here at The Tasteful Garden we promote natural pest control methods such as keeping your garden clean and weeded, using mulches and good compost in the soil, and using organically made pesticides only when absolutely necessary. We believe that healthy, happy, plants will have a naturally immunity to pests and diseases and in the long run can protect our environment from overuse of pesticides.
Jenny lives in Arizona in a very arid climate where it gets very hot in the summer. Thursday, April 1, 2010. I went out to the garden this morning to plant a bit more corn. It is supposed to rain later today. These are straight out of the garden pictures. I hope you enjoy them. I have no idea what these tall plants are.
Karen lives in Cincinnati Ohio, check out her garden! Friday, August 21, 2009. Those days are behind me. No, no, this. Knee deep in foliage and finding all kinds of wonderful surprises hiding in the greenery. Summer, how I love thee. Thursday, August 20, 2009.
Shannon is a Novice Gardener in Southern Maryland. Thursday, June 10, 2010. I went out this evening to check on things and there were a number of photo-worthy developments. The nasturtium I planted from seed are blooming.
Friday, June 26, 2009. Here are some candy-striped lilies - just gorgeous. Roses and peonies were beautiful this year in early June before all the rain. Guess what? Wednesday, June 24, 2009.
Sunday, January 16, 2011. Happy New Year 2011! January 2011 already. So today I will play a little catch up, as I anticipate the coming Spring! I was really blessed with an abundance of bounty this year. I have canned, frozen, eaten so much and enjoyed every minute of it. Below are photographs of my bounty to include my prize giant Sunflower I grew this year. Just a little proud of this big sunflower! Well, I.
