Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Just a Few More Hours. Well, I made it! I lived in Africa for almost 2 months! Im trying to avoid the inevitable of saying goodbye! I am coming back almost 25 pounds lighter, but with the weight of everyone I have met here and their struggles. I feel so selfish for all the things I have. I have to prepare myself for reverse culture shock as I go back to my reality of school loans and mortgage payments! Well, I am off to say goodbye and probably ball my eyes out! This is a blog for the Seattle Community Colleges Service Learning trip to Arusha, Tanzania to work in medical clinics, schools, agricultural projects, etc. for 3 weeks in summer 2008.
