It was a lonely saturday night. It had been almost two months since I left my little hometown in Belgium and moved to Toronto. The reasons for my move were complicated, or so I pretended, but basically came down to me wanting to get away from everything and everyone. To exile myself and learn how to stand on my own two feet. 8220;Who was THAT guy anyway? One of her friends would say.

When I started this blog, I was copying my cousin who was keeping us all updated on her family in Arizona. I thought it would be fun to blog here and there, show off some pictures of the kiddos and blog about my weight loss adventure. It became so much more than that.

Tales of an Urban Potato Farmer? May 31, 2011. Last summer, I came across a few potatoes in my refrigerator that had sprouted. Is it just me, or does the one on the bottom look like a creepy hand? Instead of throwing them out, my gardening curiosity got the best of me and into the garden plot they went. I cut them up and threw them right into the middle, next to the overflowing strawberry patch. Much to my surprise, they grew! Deluxe Apartment in the Sky.
