Hunting, fishing, exploring Southeast Texas. The 4am alarm put an end to a long night of tossing and turning due to the expectation of the first duck of the year. Saturday morning started early with a 30 minute drive to Winnie, TX. To meet up with The Drake Plantation guide service for some early season teal. Breakfast at 5am at the Waffle House. Was followed by a short drive to the flooded rice field where we would hunt. The Drake Plantation is the foremost duck hunting.
