Thursday, August 5, 2010. 23 years I have walked this earth, as of two days ago. I did enjoy walking around the grounds and chatting with the people, there were these 2 girls from the U.S. that needed translation and the girl selling the おまもり talismans asked for help on spelling and properly pronouncing what I translated. I got to share some information I had learned about Buddhism and Shinto and of course Sugawara no Michizane, who the temple is dedicated to. I will be back one day for certain. .CONTENT

Monday, August 10, 2015. I am in the mood to do a little celebrating today. I finally got to sign my contract with my new school district! It is such a huge relief to have the paperwork done after all the craziness that took place with my job hunt over the summer. Why?
