Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Sometimes you are in the right place at the right time. About a month ago I was on social media and saw Casey from Second Grade Math Maniac. Asking for people to review her new take home math kits. I responded and was chosen! I was so excited because I have been less than happy with our Envision math program. Many of my kids need practice on skills already learned, but some are ready for some challenge. This product was just perfect for that! We are forever.
Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Volcanos, Mountain, and Canyons! OH MY it Landform time! We have been studying landforms in Social Studies. To end the lesson I sent some modeling clay home with my students. I assigned each student a landform. With the help of their parents they created AWESOME landforms! They got real creative with this assignment! Yesterday I had them write a descriptive paragraph to go along with their landform! I also must thank my parents! I have a wonderful set of parents this year! .
